The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of

The Professor
 at The Theoretical Physics Division

Localization:: Warsaw, Pasteura Street 7

Description of tasks:

  • Conducting scientific research in the field of quantum gravity, its semiclassical approximation and the phenomenology of quantum gravity, with particular emphasis on quantum deformations of space-time symmetries. 
  • Scientific supervision of doctoral students. 
  • Scientific cooperation with NCBJ staff within the framework of the created research group; scientific cooperation with foreign centers. 
  • Teaching courses for doctoral students.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Academic title of professor. 
  • Confirmed by significant scientific achievements experience in the study of classical and quantum gravity, with particular emphasis on the phenomenology of quantum gravity and deformation of space-time symmetries. 
  • Experience in directing scientific projects confirmed by research grants obtained. 
  • Confirmed international cooperation.
