We are launching the project "Enhancing innovative support for businesses.

The project aims to develop and strengthen the pro-innovation services offered by the National Centre for Nuclear Research as an accredited Innovation Centre, performing the function of "infrastructure sharing" through the Science and Technology Park Świerk.

As part of the project, the Innovation Centre will be equipped with modern research and technological infrastructure, in particular supporting the development of innovation in the field of space research, as well as expanding the training offer in the field of cybersecurity.

The main result of the project will be to broaden and improve the quality of the pro-innovation offer, increase the availability of advanced research infrastructure for entrepreneurs, and strengthen companies' digital security competencies.

The following activities are planned as part of the project:

  1. Equipping and making available to enterprises modern research and technological infrastructure for the development of innovative solutions, in particular in the field of space research, including:
    - purchase of a computer-controlled CNC milling plotter for precise cutting of shapes and optimisation of prototyping processes,
    - purchase of a portable cleanroom, used in production processes requiring sterile conditions and high technological purity.
  2. Organisation of specialist training courses in cybersecurity, which will include simulation exercises allowing participants to test strategies for preventing, detecting and responding to cyberattacks and minimising their effects.

The project is primarily aimed at:

  • entrepreneurs, in particular from the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector,
  • technology start-ups,
  • companies conducting research and development activities,
  • entities interested in accessing advanced research infrastructure.

Project implementation period: 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2029

The project is co-financed under the European Funds for Modern Economy (FENG) programme, action 02.18 Development of the offer of Innovation Centres for companies. The total value of the project is PLN 1,117,815.00, including PLN 993,500.00 from the FENG programme.
