It is with deep sorrow that we announce that on October 14, 2026, Dr. Andrzej Korman passed away at the age of 86. He was a wonderful colleague, an experimental physicist, a longtime employee of WAT, IPJ, and NCBJ, and the director of the “LECH” Van de Graaff generator.

The funeral Mass will be held on October 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (Friday) in Hall A of the Funeral Home at the Northern Cemetery in Warsaw, followed by interment in the family plot.
