Assistant professor

Description of tasks:

• The candidate is expected to prepare a research proposal within the SONATA grant scheme, aiming at achieving scientific independence and building a research track record leading toward habilitation.
• Searching for opportunities to acquire or participate in research projects financed from external sources.
• Establishing and developing international cooperation, as well as participating in research projects with an international reach.
• Conducting scientific work and publishing research results in recognized scientific journals.
• Presenting results at international and national conferences, symposia and workshops.

Requirements for the candidate:

• General theory of relativity (and/or other theories of gravity).
• Theory of light propagation in relativistic cosmological models.
• Semi-classical quantization techniques.
• Formulations of quantum mechanics in phase space.
• We require prior experience in research on light propagation in the presence of torsion, and above all, a solid understanding of the phase space formalism and semiclassical quantization techniques.
