The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of
Assistant professor

Localization: Pasteura 7, 02-093 Warsaw
Description of tasks:
- The candidate is expected to prepare a research proposal within the SONATA grant scheme, aiming at achieving scientific independence and building a research track record leading toward habilitation.
- Searching for opportunities to acquire or participate in research projects financed from external sources.
- Establishing and developing international cooperation, as well as participating in research projects with an international reach.
- Conducting scientific work and publishing research results in recognized scientific journals.
- Presenting results at international and national conferences, symposia and workshops.
Requirements for the candidate:
- General theory of relativity (and/or other theories of gravity).
- Theory of light propagation in relativistic cosmological models.
- Semi-classical quantization techniques.
- Formulations of quantum mechanics in phase space.
- We require prior experience in research on light propagation in the presence of torsion, and above all, a solid understanding of the phase space formalism and semiclassical quantization techniques.
