The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of
Postdoc
UZ2_439
Localization: Świerk near Otwock - in the outskirts of Warsaw with daily transport services provide.
Description of tasks:
- Analysis of data from LHCb experiment at CERN and creative participation in research on symmetries at high energy, participation in data taking, design and development of new software for the detector and analysis of data at high luminosity (after Upgrade-2), participation in coordination of activities in software groups or data analysis groups, coaching of PhD as an auxiliary supervisor on machiner learning, new detector and analysis technologies or physics analysis.
Requirements for the candidate:
- PhD in experimental high energy physics; max 2 years after PhD defense;
- Interest in modern technological solutions and strong motivation to actively contribute to the future development of the LHCb experiment within the High-Luminosity LHC program;
- Willingness to serve as a co-supervisor and to support early-career researchers;
- Excellent command of English.
