Stanisław Lem European Research Prize – 2026 Edition (30/09/2026)
Sixth edition of the Stanisław Lem European Research Prize, organised by Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The competition is intended for young researchers (up to 40 years of age) who, within the last three years (2023–2026), have made a significant scientific discovery or achieved outstanding accomplishments in the broadly understood field of engineering and technology.
2026 Edition – Call for Applications
Young researchers at your institution are warmly invited to participate in the sixth edition of the international Stanisław Lem European Research Prize, organised by Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The competition is open to researchers under the age of 40 (born in 1986 or later) affiliated with a university or research institution in an EU Member State, a Horizon Europe associated country, or Switzerland.
The Stanisław Lem Prize is awarded for outstanding scientific achievements or discoveries made within the last three years in the broadly understood field of engineering and technology. Awarded achievements should demonstrate creativity, interdisciplinarity, visionary thinking, and a strong technological component.
The application (together with 2–3 letters of recommendation and up to three publications) should be submitted electronically by 30 September 2026 to lemprize@pwr.edu.pl.
Applications must be signed and submitted by the candidates. Attaching a CV is recommended.
The winner will be announced on 15 November 2026 during the annual celebration of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The winner will receive a cash prize of PLN 100,000 and will be invited to Wrocław in the following calendar year to receive the award and deliver a lecture on their discoveries or achievements.

On 15–16 July 2026, an international brokerage event dedicated to the MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 call, organised by the RADIANCE project, will take place.
The event aims to support consortium building by helping participants find beneficiaries and associated partners, establish new contacts, and present project ideas.
The event is open to participants from all over the world, including universities, research institutes, SMEs, corporations, public administration institutions, museums, hospitals, and non-governmental organisations.
Matchmaking sessions will take place on both days from 9:00 to 20:00 (CEST). Meetings with potential partners are arranged individually via the B2Match platform. Participation requires completing your profile in the Marketplace section in advance.
