Voting in the "Łączy nas...Nauka" poll begins on September 17th at 8:00 AM. Among the projects is an initiative by the National Centre for Nuclear Research and the Greater Poland Cancer Center: Construction and Validation of an Ultra-High Dose Rate Electron Beam (FLASH RT).

This is a breakthrough in oncology – the FLASH RT method delivers a radiation dose in less than 0.1 second. This significantly reduces the risk of damage to healthy tissue, while the therapy remains equally effective.
