The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens the competition for the position of:
Professor at the Institute
(BP2_368)
Localization: Pasteura 7, 02-093 Warsaw
Description of tasks:
- Investigation of exclusive processes within the frameworks of Generalised Parton Distributions (GPDs) and Transition Distribution Amplitudes (TDAs).
- Identification and theoretical description of novel processes sensitive to GPDs and TDAs.
- Preparation of future measurements of exclusive processes in experiments conducted at CERN, BNL and JLab in the USA, and HIAF in China.
- Modeling of GPDs and TDAs that satisfy all theoretical constraints, including the use of machine learning techniques.
Requirements:
- Expertise in: Analysis of experimental data, including data from elastic and (semi-)inclusive scattering processes. Methodologies for lattice QCD calculations, particularly in the context of quasi- and pseudo-distributions. Computational tools, especially the PARTONS platform and the EpIC Monte Carlo generator.
