The 12th edition of the Polish Chemistry Congress

The 12th edition of the Polish Chemistry Congress will soon take place in Warsaw. The National Centre for Nuclear Research has assumed honorary patronage of this prestigious event. One of the topics covered during the congress will be nuclear energy and its application in the chemical industry.

The 12th Polish Chemistry Congress is the largest event in the chemical sector in Poland and Central Europe, organised by the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry (PIPC). The Congress will take place in Warsaw on 11–12 June 2026.

One of the panellists at the Congress will be Prof. Jakub Kupecki, Director of the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), who will share his experiences regarding the energy transition in Poland, and in particular the potential applications of nuclear energy and SMRs in the chemical industry.
