20-05-2025
We are happy to announce that a consortium led by the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) has received funding in the first edition of the NAWA-EURAXESS Network programme for institutions. The programme is financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027. The project titled "Establishment of a Regional NAWA-EURAXESS Network in the Mazovian Voivodeship" has been awarded full funding in the amount of 1,115,472.00 PLN. The project will be implemented between 2025 and 2028.
The National Centre for Nuclear Research is the project leader, responsible for overall coordination as well as the implementation of specific tasks such as the creation of a website for the Mazovian EURAXESS network and the organization of integration and promotional events.
The consortium includes the following partner institutions:
- International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw (IIMCB)
- Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW)
- Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences
- International Institute of Molecular and Cell Machines, Polish Academy of Sciences (IMol)
- University of Warsaw
The aim of the project is to build a strong, regional support network for international researchers and scientific institutions within the Mazovian Voivodeship. As part of the project, we plan to strengthen cooperation with all scientific institutions in the region. Additionally, we seek to expand collaboration with public administration and local government units.
Our objectives will be achieved through the organization of integration and sports events, training on legalizing residence and intercultural communication, and study visits.
The expected outcomes of our activities include an increase in the number of international researchers and students, improved international standing of scientific institutions in the Mazovian region, and a lasting enhancement of staff competencies in supporting international mobility.
We thank all partners for their commitment and congratulate everyone on this shared success!
