
Prof. Kupecki to speak at the HYPOTHESIS conference

Prof. Jakub Kupecki, Director of the National Centre for Nuclear Research, is participating in the international HYPOTHESIS conference. This prestigious event brings together experts from the worlds of science, industry and administration, creating a space for presenting the latest achievements and exchanging experiences in the field of hydrogen technologies.
The HYdrogen POwer THeoretical & Engineering Solutions International Symposium (HYPOTHESIS) conference is being held for the twentieth time. This year, participants will meet in in Mexico to discuss the development and prospects of technologies using hydrogen as an energy carrier. Representatives of industry, research laboratories, universities and public administration will discuss the latest achievements in this field, including new theoretical and experimental work as well as prototypes.
The group of experts at the HYPOTHESIS XX conference also includes the new director of the National Centre for Nuclear Research, Prof. Jakub Kupecki. The head of NCBJ will give a presentation on large-scale hydrogen production using solid oxide electrolysis. In his presentation, he will discuss the work carried out in this area to date and the conclusions drawn from it, as well as present the potential of this technology and the prospects for its future application. This topic will also be continued during the panel discussion "Concept of a solid oxide electrolysis – molten carbonate fuel cell hybrid system to support a power-to-gas installation".
Prof. Kupecki will also be involved in the next, 21st edition of the HYPOTHESIS conference, which will take place in 2026 in Warsaw. During next year's conference, the director of NCBJ will hold the position of chairman.
