On 29 October 2025, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Centre for Research and Development visited the National Centre for Nuclear Research. The guests met with the NCBJ management and visited the MARIA research nuclear reactor.

Representatives of NCBJ met with Prof. Marek Gzik, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Jerzy Małachowski, Director of the National Centre for Research and Development, Patrycja Gutowska, Deputy Director of the Science Department at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and Jarosław Oliwa, Director of the Budget and Finance Department at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The National Centre for Nuclear Research was represented by: Director, Prof. Jakub Kupecki; Deputy Director for Science, Prof. Agnieszka Pollo; Deputy Director for Innovation and Commercialisation, Dr Marcin Kardas; and Spokesperson, Dr Jadwiga Witek. 

During the meeting, current issues and opportunities for development and cooperation were discussed. Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Centre for Research and Development also visited the MARIA reactor, whose operation was presented by Paweł Nowakowski, MSc, Director of the Nuclear Facilities Operation Department at the NCBJ, and Grzegorz Krzysztoszek, MSc, Deputy Director of NCBJ for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection.
